About the Role

We need a data-driven marketer and creative thinker to design and execute growth strategies that will drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. You will work closely with our leadership, product, and operations teams to test and scale marketing initiatives across digital channels, partnerships, and community-driven growth.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Develop and own Terminal Africa’s marketing & growth strategy
  • Drive user acquisition and revenue growth across all marketing channels
  • Design and implement campaigns (organic, paid, partnerships, referrals) to attract and retain customers
  • Build and manage an efficient marketing funnel—from awareness to loyalty
  • Create and manage content marketing across blog, email, SEO, and social media
  • Identify new growth opportunities in logistics, payments, and e-commerce segments
  • Set KPIs, track marketing performance, and report to leadership
  • Run marketing experiments (landing pages, pricing, promos, onboarding, messaging)
  • Partner with product and operations teams to improve customer experience and conversion
  • Manage external marketing partners and agencies when needed
  • Stay updated on trends in digital marketing, logistics, payments, and e-commerce
Qualifications & Skills:

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or digital strategy—ideally in a fast-growing startup
  • Have a strong understanding of marketing funnels, growth loops, and customer journeys
  • Know how to use data to drive decisions—comfortable with analytics, A/B testing, and reporting
  • Are skilled in digital marketing: SEO, SEM, social, email, content, partnerships
  • Are experienced with CRM, marketing automation tools, and campaign management
  • Are creative and strategic, with an eye for compelling messaging and brand storytelling
  • Are hands-on and proactive—ready to roll up your sleeves to execute and test ideas
  • Understand the challenges of logistics, ecommerce, or payments in Africa (a big plus)
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Are passionate about empowering African businesses and creating a global impact
