As HR Manager at Terminal Africa, you will be the driving force behind our people operations — building scalable HR systems, developing a high-performance culture, and ensuring every employee has an exceptional experience from day one. This is an individual contributor role with a mandate to build and own the HR function end-to-end, with the expectation of growing a team as the company scales. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with department heads to align people strategy with business objectives. The right person for this role is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator — someone who can design the framework and execute the details.
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a startup, tech, or fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong, demonstrable experience with SeamlessHR or a comparable HRMS platform.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian labour law, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
- Proven experience across recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR analytics/reporting.
Preferred
- HR professional certification: CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or equivalent.
- Experience managing HR across multiple locations or distributed teams.
- Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or technology-driven businesses.
