Waybill Access is one of the most important parts of smooth shipping operations at Terminal Africa. Keeping it safe allows shipment moves for the right purpose, with the right information. And with it, you can generate shipping waybills directly on our platform.
We've updated our Waybill Access Policy to provide clear guidelines on how to use it and what actions may result in a violation. This update strengthens protection for customers, operations, and the logistics ecosystem. It addresses gaps in misuse, unauthorized access, and poor documentation. Most customers comply, but small lapses can still cause delays and risks.

What Counts as a Violation?
You may be in violation of the policy if you:
- Allow another person or business to use your Waybill Access privileges.
- Create waybills for unapproved third parties.
- Ship prohibited, restricted, illegal, or undeclared items.
- Provide false, incomplete, or misleading shipment information.
- Submit inaccurate or incomplete shipment documentation.
- Upload altered, forged, or falsified shipping documents.
- Continue to disregard policy requirements after receiving warnings or corrective notices.
What Happens if You Violate the Policy?
We follow a progressive enforcement process for most violations.
First Violation
- Formal warning
- Administrative fine
Second Violation
- Final warning
- Temporary suspension of Waybill Access
- Increased administrative fine
Third Violation
- Extended suspension
- Management review
- Additional fines and recovery of related costs
For serious violations such as fraud, shipment of prohibited goods, or deliberate misuse of Waybill Access, we may suspend, permanently revoke your access or pursue legal action where necessary.
Reviews and Appeals
Before we apply any penalty, our Operations Team reviews the reported violation, shipment records, booking history, and supporting documentation. If you believe a decision was made in error, you can submit a written appeal within five business days of receiving a violation notice.
Protect Your Access
Waybill Access is a privilege designed to help you ship more efficiently. By following the policy and providing accurate shipment information, you can avoid disruptions and maintain uninterrupted access to your shipping tools.
